You already <\/span>know how to upload your website via FTP<\/span><\/a>. This article shows you how to use FTP with your SSH credentials, which means you can use port 22.<\/span><\/p>\n

All you need to do is download and install an FTP client, then enter the correct Host, Username, Password and Port.<\/span><\/p>\n

Follow these steps in the <\/span><\/strong>control panel <\/span><\/a>to use FTP with your SSH credentials:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Go to \u201cMy products\u201d> \u201cWeb hosting\u201d> Click on the button \u201cManage hosting\u201d to the right of your domain name.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Select \u201cSSH\u201d in the menu on the left.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. With SSH you can establish a secure connection with your hosting package. By default, SSH is not activated. You can activate this by clicking on the slider.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Now open settings for your connection in your FTP client. If you use Filezilla, it will look something like this:<\/span>\"ftp\n

    • At <\/span>HOST you<\/span><\/strong> use your backup SSH host. For example: ssh008.webhosting.be<\/span><\/li>\n
    • With <\/span>USERNAME you<\/span><\/strong> use the SSH username. For example: ninefortwobe<\/span><\/li>\n
    • When <\/span>PASSWORD<\/span><\/strong> use your password from the FTP root user<\/span><\/li>\n
