Open that file to download the profile.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow System Preferences &#8211; Profiles &#8211; Install\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the pop-up window, click on Continue.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter your e-mail password and click on Continue.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The mailbox is checked and installed on your computer<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"htoc-manual-configuration-in-apple-mail\">Manual configuration in Apple Mail<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Follow these steps in Apple Mail:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Via the navigation bar at the top you go to &#8220;Mail&#8221;> &#8220;Add Account&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: initial; font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, &quot;Segoe UI&quot;, Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, &quot;Helvetica Neue&quot;, sans-serif;\">Choose &#8220;Other Mail account&#8221; and continue<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter your name, e-mail address and password and continue<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apple&#8217;s automatic check will fail, but that&#8217;s no problem<br>Enter the missing information.\n<ul>\n<li>Incoming mail server: <strong>imap.mailprotect.be<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Outgoing mail server: <strong>smtp-auth.mailprotect.be<\/strong>  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the apps that you want to use with this e-mail account and complete the configuration<br><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\"><strong>Tip: Delete e-mails from the server if you chose a POP configuration<br><\/strong>Make sure your online mailbox has not become full, by deleting deleted e-mails there too. Follow these extra steps for this. This is done automatically with an IMAP configuration. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.easyhost.be\/en\/help\/kb\/automatically-delete-emails-from-the-server-in-apple-mail-pop-only\/\">Delete e-mails from the server in Apple Mail<\/a> (POP only)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"control\">Check if your mailbox is set up correctly in Apple Mail<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Is your mailbox in Apple Mail strange? Does he still receive messages but can he no longer send them or vice versa? Then there is probably something wrong with the settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Follow these steps in Apple Mail to see if your mailbox is set up correctly:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Via the navigation bar at the top you go to &#8220;Mail&#8221;> &#8220;Preferences&#8221;.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to the &#8220;Account&#8221; tab and select the mailbox that you want to check.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to the &#8220;Server Settings&#8221; tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check if the settings match the following:<br><pre><strong>Username:<\/strong> Exactly the same as your e-mail address<br> <strong>Server incoming e-mail: <br><\/strong> imap.mailprotect.be - Port 993 - for IMAP<br>pop3.mailprotect.be - Port 995 - for POP3<br><br><strong>Outgoing e-mail server:<br><\/strong> smtp-auth.mailprotect.be - Port 587<\/pre><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make sure the &#8220;Manage connection settings automatically&#8221; option is unchecked.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Will the problems still persist afterwards?
